Bridge Street Toys is a privately owned toy company that manufacturers and sells educational building sets.

The original Girder & Panel, Bridge & Turnpike and Hydrodynamic buildings sets were made in the late 1950's. As a child I would play with my Girder & Panel building set for hours on end. One day in the fall of 2003, my wife and I decided that we wanted a set for my then 8 year old son. We searched and searched for a Hydrodynamic set, as this is the toy that inspired me to become an engineer. It turns out that these toys are no longer in production, though there is a thriving group of collectors of the old sets.

We decided that it would be fun to start a business and put these toys back into production. We introduced the first of the "new" Girder and Panel building sets in November 2005.

This is such a great toy. We are thrilled to be able to make it available once again for young engineers and architects (and their Moms and Dads)!
